What shake actually is.

Shake is the smaller pieces that break off our indoor flower during trimming and handling. It comes off the same plants as the whole buds in our jars, so it carries the same genetics and the same lab numbers. Flower is fragile, and it breaks at every step from the drying rack to the scoop in a jar. Grading is where the lower price comes from. Cannabis gets sorted after harvest on how it looks, on bud size, density, and trim, and the pieces that will never win on a shelf go into the value tier. Same room, same feed, same harvest day. It costs us the same to grow, and it photographs worse. Because we grow it, the breakage is already ours, so we can price it at what it actually costs us.

Why we can price it this way.

We grow the flower and we sell the flower. Same company, same people. It goes from our grow room to our shelf without changing hands. No wholesaler buys it first and marks it up, and no broker takes a fee to set up the sale. Somebody pays for those steps, and usually it is you. We skip them, so the number on our shelf sits close to what it costs us to grow. So you get indoor flower at a price you do not usually see on indoor. We grow it seed to jar in a sanitized room where we hold the climate steady, and it comes out clean and consistent harvest after harvest. The math per gram.

Divide the price by the weight and the numbers hold up. An eighth runs more per gram than a shake ounce, for the grading reason above. Both figures are out the door with tax already in them.

The three prices above hold every day, with no start date and no end date. Daily specials, limited drops, and brand promos change faster than a page like this can keep up with.
